Classroom Yoga for 5th graders!

Every day is yoga day in my classroom. There are no sticky mats, no bare feet, and no fancy studio here—our traditional classroom will suffice! We do breathing exercises in the morning, a mini-sequence just before lunch, and short breaks using “yoga bites” throughout the day. Even small amounts of yoga makes learning easier and teaches children how to turn their attention inward and opens them up to the amazing potential they each carry within.  If elementary school teachers or anyone curious can sign up for a free curriculum at classroomyogaproject.org.<!--[endif]-->
